Re-opening and COVID-19 Friday, July 3rd

We will be re-opening on July 4th and we can’t wait to see you. Here are some of the measures we are taking to keep you safe and happy.

Keeping you safe and happy

 

Getting ready to re-open makes us very happy. The health, safety and well-being of our guests and staff remains our number one priority.  We have reviewed all our procedures across each and every part of our business to ensure that we keep everyone safe, and we will continue to review our approach based upon UK Government guidelines and Public Health England.

Our Standards & Plan
Our business has carried out a thorough Covid-19 risk assessment and Standard Operating Procedure plan addressing the specific adjustments needed for each part of our business. We have summarised the details in our five-point safety plan below.

Our five point safety plan:

1. Health Checks

All of our staff have filled out a health questionnaire and will make daily health declarations stating they are fit to work. We will also be checking staff temperatures daily. Any staff member who shows any signs or symptoms or lives with someone who has symptoms will be sent home to self-isolate as per government policy.

We kindly ask you, our customers that if you or anyone accompanying shows signs or symptoms, that you ring us to cancel your table. We are being increasingly flexible with regards to rescheduling bookings.

2.Team Training, cleaning and hygiene measures

All our teams will be briefed and trained in our new enhanced cleaning procedures and the responsibility they have to their colleagues and guests.

High contact points will be deep cleaned regularly.

Hand sanitiser stations will be available throughout our business and we request you use them when you enter the building.  We welcome you to use them at any point during your time with us.

Extra sanitiser is located at all entry and exit points for our teams to use when entering and leaving their place of work.

Hand washing will be for a minimum of 20 seconds every hour.

 

3. Personal protection

Personal protective equipment is provided for necessary tasks that our staff undertake and in use in accordance with the latest government guidelines.

4.Social distancing measures

We have taken all reasonable steps and encourage all staff to maintain a safe and social distance within the workplace and a 1m+ / 2m social distancing will be observed.

In our restaurant we have reduced seating capacity and we have extended seating into additional areas, including outside spaces, allowing us to maintain a 1m+ or 2m social distance between each table. We aim for wherever possible to achieve 2 metres.

5.Integrating technology

We still accept all of our former types of payment, but we encourage, where possible, our customers use contactless options such as Apple or Android Pay. We will also bring the bill to your table so you can pay at the table.

 

Additional cleaning

  • Please rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to ensure we have the safest environment possible. We already have stringent cleaning procedures in operation, but we are doubling our effort.
  • We clean the restaurant up to three times per day – morning, afternoon (between lunch and evening) and in the evening.
  • We are using antibacterial soap throughout our restaurant as we always have.
  • We are cleaning all ‘touch points’ e.g. door handles and surfaces with antibacterial spray regularly.
  • We are double washing all of our cutlery – once straight away and once before it is placed on the table. We are disinfecting all the cruets and table wear after each service.
  • Our chefs and team are taking the upmost care and safety with the preparation of food.

What we ask of you

 

We ask that you adhere to our policies and procedures when on our premises and follow any guidance by staff and signage, this will allow us to keep everyone safe. We ask that you follow government guidelines when booking your table.

We ask that you arrive on time for your booking and inform us as soon as possible, if there are any changes to your booking.

We will bring your bill to the table and we ask that you pay at the table and that you do not go to pay at the reception.
